Grand County is the county that contains Winter Park, Fraser, Tabernash, Grand Lake, Kremmling, Hot Sulphur Springs, etc.

******RESTAURANTS******

First though, lets talk restaurants in the greater Winter Park area:

Probably the most popular place in Winter Park is HERNANDOS Pizza and Pasta Pub - located at the far end of town from your Beaver Village Condo.  They have great Chicago Style Pizza, wonderful Stromboli subs and many other Italian delights.  If you have kids, you don't want to miss this place - they will LOVE it.  We also have a locally owned Pizza hut that is one of the local favorites too.  Great menu and really reaonsble prices - this is a great place if you have kids.

For that very special breakfast or some decadent pastries to take home, try Carvers Bakery Cafe. (jFor your evening dining, Winter Park has such a variety of places, you will just have to pick and choose and the choices will not be easy.  Some choices you may want to consider:

Fontenots - for great Cajun style food - in downtown Winter Park in the Kings Crossing Shoppping center that is just beyond the lFontenots coupon.

Randi's Grill and Pub (Irish) ndi's also has great steaks, fresh seafood and other options and the PUB is a great place for those a

Gasthaus Eichler Restaurant - Thalad and your entree.

The Untamed Steakhouse - this is the place for great steaks, prime rib and wonderfully prepared fresh seafood.  Located in downtown There are four restaurants in Cooper Creek Square shopping center in downtown Winter Park and the shopping center provides FREE covered parking just across the heated walkway (no cars) and waterfall center.  The restaurants include Smokin Moes with great e Green Olive Carlos and Marias  Carvers Bakery just behind the New Hong Kong - the ONLY chinese restaurant in town and is OUR ite Chinese place in Grand County.

How about some Mexican Restaurants in the Winter Park area.  We have  We already mentioned Carlos and Marias in Cooper Creek Shopping Center and a new one opening in Fraser across the street from Safeway - Open in Feb 2008- a real authentic Mexican Restaurant - it is the Kings Crossing Mall (with Fontenots) just beyond Looking for that out of the way place - try the Devils Thumb Ranch House Restaurant atTThe

The ranch encompasses approximately 5000 acres at the foot of the Continental Divide in the beautiful Ranch Creek Valley, providing seclusion, spectacular scenery, incredible dining.  Devils thumb is also one of our premier cross country skiing centers.  This is for that special night out - probably the priciest restaurant in the valley.

Finally, for that very special night out, anniversary celebration or just to put a fastastic "cap" on that great vacation in the Rocky Mountains - you will need to drive to the Grand Lake area and The Historic Rapids Lodge & Restaurant. The Lodge and Restaurant are located in a beautiful wooded setting on the very edge of the Tonahutu river that flows our of the Rocky Mountain National Park. 

Looking to Relax a Little or Get Rid of Some Sore Spots

Try a "Touch of Relaxation" in the Fraser Shopping Center - just across the street from Safeway on the second floor.  They have the Migun Thermal Massage bed system.  For a very reasonable price, you just lie there and let the bed do the work - it is heated and they also have satellite based music - you get to choose the channel of your choice.  Call 726-9505 for a reservation time - they also have a Certified Massage Therapist on staff - you need to call for a reservation to see her.
